Get Caddie is who we are. The Caddie Academy is how we prepare you for success.
The Caddie Academy is our official training platform, designed to give every caddie the knowledge, confidence, and professionalism needed before stepping onto the golf course.
Get Caddie is a growing company with a long-term vision. We’re building an organization that we feel will serve golfers, caddies, golf courses, and communities for many years to come. As we grow, we’re committed to listening, learning, and continually improving. We’re excited to have you with us at the beginning of this journey.

Whether you’re an experienced golfer or completely new to caddying, this academy will guide you through everything you need to know. Throughout the training, we’ll cover golf fundamentals, course etiquette, player service, professionalism, safety, communication, pace of play, and the expectations of working as a Get Caddie caddie.
Our goal isn’t simply to help you complete a training course. Our goal is to prepare you to create an exceptional experience for every golfer you meet while helping you move toward your own personal and professional goals.
We recognize that not everyone who joins Get Caddie plans to make caddying a lifelong career—and that’s perfectly okay. Some of you may be with us for a season, while others may stay for years. No matter how long you’re here, we want your time with Get Caddie to make a positive impact on your future.
If we can help you develop professionally, prepare for your next career opportunity, strengthen your communication and leadership skills, or simply build confidence through meaningful work, then we’ve accomplished something bigger than providing caddie services. We want to help you succeed both on and off the golf course.
At Get Caddie, we believe a great caddie does much more than carry a golf bag. Great caddies anticipate needs, communicate effectively, understand the game, respect the traditions of golf, and help create an enjoyable experience for every golfer they serve.
As you move through The Caddie Academy, you’ll complete each lesson at your own pace. Some modules include videos, while others include written instruction and real-world examples. We encourage you to complete each lesson in order because every module builds on the one before it.
After completing all of the training modules, you’ll take a final written exam to demonstrate your understanding of the material. Once you’ve successfully passed the written exam and your background check has been completed and approved, you’ll schedule a practical evaluation at one of our partner golf courses with me or one of our certified trainers.
During your practical evaluation, you’ll demonstrate the skills, professionalism, communication, and course knowledge you’ve learned throughout the academy in a real on-course environment.
Once you’ve successfully completed the practical evaluation, you’ll officially become a certified Get Caddie caddie and be approved to accept assignments through the Get Caddie app.
Our certification process isn’t designed to make it difficult—it’s designed to make you successful. We want every caddie to step onto the first tee with confidence, professionalism, and the skills needed to succeed.
By the end of your training, you’ll have the knowledge and confidence to represent yourself, your golf course, and Get Caddie with professionalism, integrity, and pride.
